Join the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library and the National Alliance for Mental Health Indiana for an evening of mental health awareness and discussion in support of May being National Mental Health Month. Listen to speakers share their stories of struggling with mental health challenges, how they recognized it, the help they received, and how they are doing now. During the presentations the speakers will also stop to answer questions that anybody has.
NAMI Indiana is the state organization of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. They are a grassroots public charity helping people living with serious mental illnesses, their families and friends. They support local NAMI Affiliates, train volunteer leaders, provide continuing education for professionals, and partner for systems change at the state level.
The event will be held at 340 N. Senate Ave. starting at 6:00 pm.
