Marissa studied communications and public relations at the IU School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis. While in college, she interned with Visit Indy, the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, and KVML.
She discovered her passion for travel by studying intercultural communication in Wrocław, Poland. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating on the Circle City Theater on Ice team, attending musical theater performances, and exploring Indy’s bustling brew scene with her college sweetheart Andrew.
She has fallen in love with Kurt’s writing, story, and ideals and enjoys promoting KVML’s mission through unique programs and experiences. Her current favorite Vonnegut novel is Slaughterhouse-Five because of the way it masterfully marries science fiction and reality.
