Marissa Renaldi is the Programs and Donor Relations Manager for the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library. Her role includes planning and implementing all fundraising events and programs. She enjoys building relationships with other individuals and organizations within the community on behalf of KVML.
Marissa studied communications and public relations at the IU School of Liberal Arts in Indianapolis. Throughout her collegiate career, she had the opportunity to intern with Visit Indy, the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site, and the Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library.
She discovered her passion for travel by studying intercultural communication and abroad in Wrocław, Poland. In her free time, she enjoys ice skating, attending musical theatre performances, spending time on the water and exploring Indy’s bustling brew scene with her college sweetheart, Andrew.
She has fallen in love with Kurt’s writing, story, and ideals and enjoys promoting KVML’s mission through unique programs and experiences. Still new to his writing, so far, her favorite Vonnegut novel is Slaughterhouse Five because of the way it masterfully marries science fiction and reality.
