Every July, the KVML offers the Teaching Vonnegut series. This virtual conference presents sessions that explore Vonnegut’s life, works, legacy, and the causes he cared about. Classroom teachers and afterschool educators will leave sessions inspired to create new lesson plans. Participants who are not traditional educators will enjoy learning about Vonnegut, and broaden their world view. Learn more about Teaching Vonnegut (link to the TV Page).

“I think that writers, creative writers, are in the process of becoming. They are humanity becoming”
In addition to the Teaching Vonnegut series, the KVML offers speakers and workshops for anyone who wants to make their soul grow. We connect the “karass” with inspiring thinkers through monthly programming, special events and Banned Books Week- which offers provocative programming, every day, during the last week of September. Guest speakers range from renowned authors and producers, to local talent. Check the Events page for the current schedule!
