Paul Hendrickson: Veterans’ Stories of Courage & Redemption

As part of our ongoing 2025 Year of Journalism, we’re honored to welcome Paul Hendrickson, acclaimed author and Honorary Chair for the year, for a special VonnegutFest conversation.

Hendrickson will share reflections on fear, honor, heroism, and redemption, themes that run through his nonfiction works and through the life and legacy of Kurt Vonnegut, whose experiences as a World War II veteran shaped his voice and vision.
